CR1L/P65

Acts as a cofactor for complement factor I, a serine protease which protects autologous cells against complement-mediated injury by cleaving C3b and C4b deposited on host tissue.
Full Name
Complement Component (3B/4B) Receptor 1-Like
Biological Process
Regulation of complement activation Source: MGI
Regulation of complement-dependent cytotoxicity Source: MGI
Cellular Location
Cytoplasm; Secreted; Membrane. Predominantly found in association with the membrane fraction, but also located in the cytoplasm and in the supernatant.
