Target

Full Name
C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 7
Introduction
CCL7 (C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 7) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CCL7 include Diffuse Gastric Cancer and Status Asthmaticus. Among its related pathways are PEDF Induced Signaling and Akt Signaling. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include heparin binding and CCR1 chemokine receptor binding. An important paralog of this gene is CCL2.

Function
Chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. Augments monocyte anti-tumor activity. Also induces the release of gelatinase B. This protein can bind heparin. Binds to CCR1, CCR2 and CCR3.
