Introduction
Members of the B class of plexins, such as PLXNB2 are transmembrane receptors that participate in axon guidance and cell migration in response to semaphorins (Perrot et al. (2002) [PubMed 12183458]). Cell surface receptor for SEMA4C, SEMA4D and SEMA4G that plays an important role in cell-cell signaling. This protein plays a role in RHOA activation and subsequent changes of the actin cytoskeleton. This protein plays a role in axon guidance, invasive growth and cell migration.
