Creative Biolabs is a full-service antibody production company, and we are committed to providing antibody products and antibody services to the research, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. Here, our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) lists some of the most common questions around our custom antibody development services. If some other questions about your antibody generation or research, please contact us immediately.

  1. What custom services do you provide?
  2. We provide a full range of customized antibody development services, from initial target evaluation, antigen production to delivery of purified fit-for-purpose antibody. With comprehensive technology platforms and professional scientist team, our high-quality services will meet your desired antibody specifications.

Our custom antibody development services including but not limited to:

    • Anti-hapten antibody production
    • Fluobody production
    • Anti-Venom antibody discovery and development
    • Catalytic antibodies (Abzymes) discovery

For detailed information please view our Custom Antibody Production Services page.

  3. What platforms do you possess for custom antibody development?
  4. We have three main antibody development platforms:

    • Hyperdoma™: A High-Throughput Hybridoma Generation Platform.

Our Hyperdoma™ platform is a high-throughput hybridoma generation and screening platform based on the advanced ClonePix system.

    • Phage Display Platform

Our phage display platform can offer services including: Library construction and screening, monoclonal antibody production, antibody humanization and affinity maturation.

    • B-Cell Sorting Platform

Our B cell sorting platform can be used in developing native monoclonal antibodies including single B cell screening, cloning and in vitro expression.

  5. What kinds of antigens/immunogens can you use?
  6. We provide antibody development for a variety of immunogens including: Recombinant protein, peptide, over-expressing cell lines, small molecules (such as nucleotides, organic chemicals, eg PEG), toxins and polysaccharides.

  7. How much does it cost to develop a custom antibody?
  8. Generally, the cost for a custom-antibody development depends on the options chosen. Our experts will provide the most appropriate project strategy for your target and antibody requirements. Subsequently, we will generate a proposal document outlining suggested strategies including estimated costs on a case-by-case basis per your request. We may also be able to design a project to suit your specific budgetary constraints.

  9. Do you support GMP production?
  10. Yes, we are able to offer antibody GMP manufacture based upon our established and advanced equipment.

  11. What is the timeframe for developing a custom antibody?
  12. The timelines for custom antibody development depend on the chosen platform, the complexity of the screening cascades, and any application-specific testing requirements.

Projects are organized in a modular way, and each module represents a separate pricing point. At the end of each module, the data will be available for review before the next phase of the launch project. Projects can be modified, suspended, or terminated at each modular breakpoint for flexible decision making and to help minimize time and cost risks. For a timeline assessment of your antibody development, please directly contact us.

  13. What can your antibodies use for besides research?
  14. Our only provide antibodies or antibodies generation for research. Not for human or animal therapeutic or diagnostic use.

  15. What are the methods of your antibody screening and testing?
  16. Our application-specific screening methods including but not limited to:

    • ELISA
    • Western Blot
    • IHC
    • ICC
    • Flow cytometry.
