PKNOX1 (PBX/Knotted 1 Homeobox 1) is a protein coding gene. Among its related pathways are Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Susceptibility Pathways and Activated PKN1 stimulates transcription of AR (androgen receptor) regulated genes KLK2 and KLK3. Gene Ontology annotations related to this gene include DNA binding transcription factor activity and protein heterodimerization activity. An important paralog of the gene is PKNOX2.
