CDK10

CDK10 (Cyclin Dependent Kinase 10) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CDK10 include Al Kaissi Syndrome and Tick Infestation. Among its related pathways are DNA Damage and Cell Cycle Control of Chromosomal Replication. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups and protein tyrosine kinase activity. An important paralog of this gene is CDK11A.
Full Name
Cyclin Dependent Kinase 10
Function
Cyclin-dependent kinase that phosphorylates the transcription factor ETS2 (in vitro) and positively controls its proteasomal degradation (in cells) (PubMed:24218572).
Involved in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton organization through the phosphorylation of actin dynamics regulators such as PKN2. Is a negative regulator of ciliogenesis through phosphorylation of PKN2 and promotion of RhoA signaling (PubMed:27104747).
