The antibody's specificity has been rigorously validated in Western blot, where it recognizes a single band at the correct molecular weight, as well as in immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry, where it shows the expected localization and staining patterns.

What are the recommended applications, and can this antibody be used in species other than human?

This antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). It has been confirmed to cross-react with mouse and rat ACYP2 due to high sequence homology. However, for best results in an unvalidated species, we highly recommend performing a pilot experiment to determine the optimal conditions for your specific application.
