This recombinant antibody is highly specific for Histone H3 acetylated at Lysine 36. It is validated to ensure minimal to no cross-reactivity with other histone modifications, including different methylation states at Lysine 36 (H3K36me1/2/3) or acetylation at other lysine sites on histone H3.

What is a recommended starting dilution for Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)?

For ChIP applications, a good starting point is a dilution of 1:50, which corresponds to using approximately 2-5 µg of antibody per 10-25 µg of chromatin. However, the optimal antibody-to-chromatin ratio should be determined empirically by the end-user for their specific cell or tissue type.
