What species has this antibody been validated to work in?

This antibody has been tested and validated in Human, Mouse, Rat, and Monkey samples. Given the extremely high degree of amino acid sequence conservation for histone H4 across eukaryotes, it is very likely to cross-react with many other species, though this should be confirmed by the end-user.

Can I use this antibody for Immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissues (IHC-P)?

This antibody has been specifically validated for Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-F). While it may work for paraffin-embedded tissues (IHC-P) with appropriate antigen retrieval methods, this application has not been validated by Creative Biolabs. We would recommend testing it on a small scale first if you intend to use it for IHC-P.
