TSWV G2

Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) virions consist of a nucleocapsid core surrounded by a membrane containing glycoproteins Gn and Gc.
Full Name
Tomato spotted wilt virus G2 Glycoprotein
Function
Together with Glycoprotein C are present at the surface of the virion. They are able to attach the virion to a cell receptor and to promote fusion of membranes after endocytosis of the virion.
Together with Glycoprotein N are present at the surface of the virion. They are able to attach the virion to a cell receptor and to promote fusion of membranes after endocytosis of the virion.
