LCOR (ligand-dependent nuclear receptor corepressor) is a transcriptional corepressor widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues. LCOR is recruited to agonist-bound nuclear receptors through a single LxxLL motif, also referred to as a nuclear receptor (NR) box.
