Introduction
Tnfsf12 binds to FN14 and possibly also to TNRFSF12/APO3. It is a weak inducer of apoptosis in some cell types. It mediates NF-kappa-B activation and promotes angiogenesis and the proliferation of endothelial cells. It is also involved in induction of inflammatory cytokines. It promotes IL8 secretion (By similarity).
