More Infomation

Target

Full Name
UBE2E2
Introduction
UBE2E2 (Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2 E2) accepts ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. In vitro catalyzes Lys-11- and Lys-48-, as well as Lys-63-linked polyubiquitination. Catalyzes the ISGylation of influenza A virus NS1 protein. Among its related pathways are Class I MHC mediated antigen processing and presentation and Ubiquitin mediated proteolysis. GO annotations related to this gene include ligase activity and acid-amino acid ligase activity.
