Lyophilized
Reconstitution
Allow the vial and reconstitution buffer to equilibrate to room temperature. Briefly centrifuge or tap down the vial to ensure that all lyophilized powder is collected at the bottom of the vial. For the reconstitution of this product, we recommend adding PBS or sterile water to achieve a final antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Allow the vial to reconstitute for 10-15 minutes at room temperature with gentle agitation. Avoid vigorous shaking that can cause foaming and antibody denaturation. Aliquot into volumes based on your experiment and store liquid protein at -20°C or -80°C for long time.
Buffer
Lyophilized from sterile PBS
Preservative
None
Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target

Full Name
plasminogen activator, urokinase receptor
Function
Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator (PubMed:15677461).
Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. It is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form.
Biological Process
Blood coagulation
Chemotaxis
Negative regulation of apoptotic process
Negative regulation of intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway
Positive regulation of DNA binding
Positive regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway
Positive regulation of homotypic cell-cell adhesion
Positive regulation of protein phosphorylation
Positive regulation of release of cytochrome c from mitochondria
Regulation of cell adhesion
Regulation of fibrinolysis
Regulation of plasminogen activation
Regulation of proteolysis
Signal transduction
Urokinase plasminogen activator signaling pathway
Cellular Location
Cell membrane
Cell projection, invadopodium membrane
Note: Colocalized with FAP (seprase) preferentially at the cell surface of invadopodia membrane in a cytoskeleton-, integrin- and vitronectin-dependent manner.
Isoform 1
Cell membrane
Isoform 2
Secreted
