Evaluation of annexin 4 and 5 levels in CRC tissue specimens.

Left: 10 μg of pooled proteins were separated by SDS-PAGE using samples from patients with LN positive CRC (LN+ve) and LN negative CRC (LN-ve) blotted to nitrocellulose and probed with either an annexin 4 or 5 antibody followed by incubation with anti-mouse IgG and visualisation using DAB/H2O2. (a) Representative H&E-stained images of clear cell, endometrioid, mucinous, and serous carcinomas. (b) Annexin A4 (ANXA4) staining was strongly positive in clear cell and mucinous carcinomas. (c) Phosphoserine aminotransferase (PSAT1) staining was strongly positive in clear cell carcinoma, weakly positive in endometrioid and serous carcinomas, and negative in mucinous carcinoma.
