Introduction

GCHFR binds to and mediates tetrahydrobiopterin inhibition of GTP cyclohydrolase I, which consists of a homodimer. GCHFR may play a role in regulating phenylalanine metabolism in the liver and in the production of biogenic amine neurotransmitters and nitric oxide.
