Target

Full Name
LSR
Introduction
LSR (Lipolysis Stimulated Lipoprotein Receptor) is a protein coding gene. Diseases associated with LSR include Deafness, Autosomal Recessive 42 and Deafness, Autosomal Recessive 49. Among its related pathways are Lipoprotein metabolism and Metabolism. And an important paralog is ILDR2. LSR probable role in the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein from blood. Binds chylomicrons, LDL and VLDL in presence of free fatty acids and allows their subsequent uptake in the cells.
