More Infomation

Target

Full Name
transcription factor Dp family, member 3
Introduction
TFDP3 is a member of the DP family of transcription factors. These factors heterodimerize with E2F proteins to enhance their DNA-binding activity and promote transcription from E2F target genes. TFDP3 plays a role as a negative regulator and inhibits the DNA binding and transcriptional activities of E2F factors.

UniProt ID
Alternative Names
Transcription Factor Dp Family Member 3; Cancer/Testis Antigen 30; Hepatocellular Carcinoma-Associated Antigen 661; E2F-Like Protein; HCA661; CT30; DP4; Transcription Factor Dp Family, Member 3
Function
Competitive inhibitor of E2F-mediated transactivation activity. Impairs E2F-mediated cell-cycle progression from G1 to S phase.
