WNT5B is a protein-coding gene encodes the proteins which have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. Among its related pathways are DNA Damage Response (only ATM dependent) and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. An important paralog of this gene is WNT5A.
