Rabbit Anti-SAA1 Recombinant Antibody (20G5) (V2LY-0725-LY946) in FC

Overlay Peak curve showing HepG2 cells stained with V2LY-0725-LY946 (red line) at 1:50. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and permeated by 0.2% TritonX-100. Then 10% normal goat serum to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1µg/1*106cells) for 45min at 4°C. The secondary antibody used was FITC-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) at 1:200 dilution for 35min at 4°C.Control antibody (green line) was rabbit IgG (1µg/1*106cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of>10,000 events was performed.

Reactive, secondary amyloidosis is characterized by the extracellular accumulation in various tissues of the SAA1 protein. These deposits are highly insoluble and resistant to proteolysis; they disrupt tissue structure and compromise function.
Elevated serum SAA1 protein levels may be associated with lung cancer.

This protein is the precursor of amyloid protein A, which is formed by the removal of approximately 24 residues from the C-terminal end.
