Creative Biolabs has successfully developed SARS, MERS and other anti-viral antibodies in the past to assist scientific research. Facing the difficult COVID-19, Creative Biolabs actively invests in antibody development to assist researchers to better understand the characteristics of 2019-nCoV and drug development. Currently, Creative Biolabs is proud to offer an extensive line of research antibodies to support the study of SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, several of which were validated using virus-infected cell lysates.

Midbody Ring

Creative Biolabs provides a range comprehensive of recombinant antibodies used in the research of midbody ring.

At the end of cytokinesis, the dividing cells are connected by an intercellular bridge, containing the midbody along with a single, densely ubiquitylated, the circular structure called the midbody ring (MR). MRs are large (about 1.5 μm), ring-like macromolecular assemblies that contain several proteins, including centriolin2, MKLP1 (ref. 7), the de-ubiquitylation enzyme USP8 (also known as UBPY)8, and the multifunctional anti-apoptotic ubiquitin ligase BRUCE3,9, which has a relative molecular mass of 528,000 (Mr 528K).
